OK, I bought my wife a JVC Everio Hard Drive camcorder for Christmas. As a teacher trying to become nationally certified, she needs to record one of her classes, and choose 15 minutes of it to submit. The camera makes video as .MOD files, which can't be edited in Windows Movie Maker, and the software that came with the camera is useless. Can anyone help me. How can I successfully make these files useful. I need to be able to cut it to 15 minutes, then put it on a DVD.

this may be an idiot question, but how do I run dual monitors? do I need 2 video cards? or some special adapter? what's the sitch?

Hello wonderful folks of WC! Was just wondering if anyone out there knew if there was a way to rename multiple files all at once. I have a folder full of pictures, all with various different names, and I'll like to rename them 0001 through 0500 (or however many there are) without individually renaming hundreds of files. I know if you highlight them all and right click and rename, I can give them all the SAME name with (2) after it, but that's not what I'm going for here. Any clues?

I was wondering if there was a way that I could make the event list show not only the weekday, but the date. for example I would like this...

to instead look like this...

is there a way?

OK, hopefully I can get through this post without my computer freezing...

Since 2 days ago, my computer has been freezing ALOT while loading web pages. The browser goes into the "not responding" state, and I can do nothing but a hard shut down to fix it. The only 2 events that coincide with this issue, are installation of new wireless keyboard and mouse software by logitech, and downloading a firefox extension to enable videos to be downloaded from YouTube. Both have since been uninstalled...

Hi folks... just have a question. I like to use Aveicon to drag and drop .ico files and create .png files out of them. When and iconpackage includes all the .ico files in a folder, access to them is easy. My question is, when an iconpackage only includes the iconpackage theme file and an icon library file, is there a way to access the individual icons to drag into Aveicon? Thanks in advance for any help!

Ok, I used to create many Sysmetrix themes, as many of you remember, and I'm starting to make them again. It's been a while and I've forgotten one thing. When creating buttons, what's the sequence of states? Normal, hover, clicked... that sort of thing. It's 6 states per image, right? Someome help me here please.

OK, just wondering. Is it possible and honest to put my Object Desktop stuff on my laptop as well as my desktop? How do I go about it? Just download SD Central again from my laptop?
